It has one or two funny scenes and that is perhaps the only positive thing I can say about this film. A repetitive film made worse by pretty much having one set, which gets tiring very very fast. A cast of random characters somehow gathered together to perform a set of random tasks. I personally expected the film to be more focused on Chinese mythical creature, but the little furry animal has nothing mythic about it at all, it’s just a … black and white pherbie. The story itself has no direction at all which makes the whole film feel pointless. A waste of a strong cast (not saying they can act), and shows the disappointingly sad decline of the director who once made Initial D and Internal Affairs.
